Mirror XYR – Experimental Film

Mirror XYR is a live-action experimental film that explores step printing and other superimposition techniques. It is divided into four sections with four interludes, each section organized in different subsections that grow in complexity.

Is it possible to create mirror images through step-printing?

MIRROR XYR started as a project that sought symmetry through step-printing. It has, however, evolved into a visual exploration of new tools and approaches that leave open new possibilities for future works. The techniques applied range from step-printing, to windowing, to live-action, to physical filters. The results range from obvious applications of these techniques to rich images full of texture and movement.
